kppp detects my modem on COM1, (in windows, it says my modem is on COM3)
It also says modem busy when I try COM4, is it possible that it is not
detecting my modem at all
when I go to dial in, it says Modem ready, and sits on the Modem Intializing
phase and I never hear a dialtone....thats all the farther I can get.

I installed Mandrake 7.0
I have a US Robotics 56k Fax Internal PnP modem (Hardware, NOT winmodem)
