by How do I go about getting my current IP address from a new SLIP
connection and then setting shell variables to this value. My dip
script does get the new IP address, but I can't seem to access
it...other than by reading it off the screen. Is there a simple and
clean way of setting all the important shell variables, so I can do
an xrsh, for example.
