i've got right now with SuSE Linux 7.3 my 3com usb ethernet adapter
running. The problem is that samba isn't able to start the nmbd
service?????????
I've tried as well an http connection on port 901 which didn't worked
as well.... any suggestions???????????????

as of the problem you cannot access localhosts:901 maybe u didn't install
swat
if you do install it make sure it's running. try to look at your netstat -an

about you can't execute nmbd i don't know
