You might like to upgrade to ppp-2.4.1 as 2.4.0 has some known problems in it.

See ya

1. US Robotics External V.90 56k modem.

Hi all. Let me preface this by saying I am extremely new to the linux shop.
I actually got it to dual boot with Windows, which kind of surprised me!

Anyways. This is where I am having a problem. I have the modem mentioned in
the title, and when I ran isapnp, it seems to have locked it up or
something. Now Windoze will not even see the modem, and it's "terminal
ready" light is out.

Did I really screw things up here? Is this something I can fix? I know I am
not really familiar with isapnp configuration. Anyone offer any advice on
how to do this? Where I should go from here? This modem is brand new, I have
only had it for a week or so.

Thanks in advance, I look forward to any and all replies.
