since a short period of time i'm getting syslog-messages from named
which i don't know.

What does XStats and Nstats mean? I couldn't find any information
about that in my bind book...

Named is printing out the statistics of queries it has received.  The BIND
book (2nd edition) has the meaning of some of these stats, I'm sure the
new 3rd edition will go into them more in-depth.

Is there a way to supress these messages... they are annoying... :-)
