Hi
I am running a wireless laptop that occasionally drops the connection
on a service that requires me to login to use. The problem is that
when it disconnects, I cannot login again until the server has
"dumped" my previous login info (about 15min)
I have been told by the isp that I need to setup dhcpd so that it
"does not request a new address". Evidently this keep me from login in
again as it thinks I am logged under one ip and suddenly I come in on
a new one. Question is...this is a bit beyond me. What do I need to do
to set this up? I am running Slackware 8.1, linux 2.4.18 with
Internet Software Consortium DCHP Server V3.0pl1.
Thanks for any help or suggestions,
Joshua
