pppd: Unknown protocol (0x8029) received

Hello all,
After digging through a lot of HOWTO's, FAQ's, PPP-tip, man-pages and
lists, I was able (after a while) in setting up a working PPP-connection.
Nevertheless, I get mostly (NOT ALWAYS) following message in the log of pppd
(extract):

Dec 22 15:07:06 localhost pppd[1032]: Using interface ppp0
Dec 22 15:07:06 localhost pppd[1032]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/modem
Dec 22 15:07:10 localhost pppd[1032]: Unknown protocol (0x8029) received       <-- message
Dec 22 15:07:13 localhost pppd[1032]: local  IP address x.x.x.x
Dec 22 15:07:13 localhost pppd[1032]: remote IP address y.y.y.y

The logical questions here are:
- does it say something special, and if so,
- do I have to worry about it ?

The PPP-FAQ explains other unknown protocols, messaged in the same way, but this one was not adressed.
PPP-version: 2.2.0, RedHat 4.0.

Michel
