Has anybody trying building kernel using the above patch? I am trying to build h323 module from above patch and in my environment I have linux kernel 2.4.18 and iptables 1.2.6a. If anybody has successfully tried the above patch, then I will appreciate if you could send me the steps and any other details to have it working will be appreciated.
thanks

One thing you might want to try is to go get the 2.4.18-rc4 version
and rename it internally to 2.4.18 after unpacking it.  For some
strange reason the 2.4.18 kernel was short a bunch of stuff, and we
were told to use the -rc4 version instead as it was complete.  Thats
what I'm running here, and its fine, on 2 machines, AFAICT.

Hi Gene,
Thanks for your reply. Can you give me pointer from where I can download
2.4.18-rc4 version? And what do you mean by renaming it? Can you provide the
details?
thanks
