IMAP server for Linux?

Post by Mark W. Salye » Sat, 24 May 1997 04:00:00

Anyone know of an IMAP server for linux?  I would rather use that than
pop3 for the mail serving, but I am having no luck finding it.

If anyone can help, I would sure appreciate it.

You want to look at the "Cyrus" project at CMU. It is a freely available IMAP
server that runs on Linux.

hi;

I would recommend to use the uw (university washington) imap4.1 - easy to compile
and configure. Works great for me (solaris 2 and linux).
