3c575 10/100 PCMCIA NIC

3c575 10/100 PCMCIA NIC

Post by Brian Hazzar » Fri, 02 Oct 1998 04:00:00

At http://www.ps.uci.edu/~tomba/inspiron/, I read that "Latest 3Com 575
cards (end of July 1998 and later) do not work with Linux yet (as of
beginning of September 1998). "  Does anyone know if there are plans to
support this card and when?  Any recommendations for an alternative
PCMCIA Ethernet card?

Thanks,
Brian

I've been configuring my Toshiba 740CDT Laptop for Slakware but have not
been able to find any support for my NIC. it's a Cardbus 3COM 3c575 10/100.
if anybody has any pointers or leads as to where I could find a driver or a
compatible driver I would appreciate it.

Thanks.
