Is there any way to manually set the port speed on an ethernet NIC
card to 100mb Full duplex in Redhat Linux 7.2?  It seems to just be
set to automatic by default, and there dosen't seem to be an obvious
way to change this setting.

that depends on what kind of card you have.
most nics have dos mode diagnostic/setup programs where u can set full/half
duplex 10/100mbs speeds for the card.

I didn't know there was a Redhat 7.2, I can't see one on my mirror, but you
never know.  Which network card are you using, it might be able to have
options provided to it when the module is loading into the system.
Additionally, you might like to take a look at the mii-diag program which is
available at http://www.scyld.com/network.
