Mosaic 2.6 for Linux error libXt.so.6 not found

Post by Ulrik Hed » Tue, 02 Apr 1996 04:00:00

When i try to run Mosaic 2.6 for Linux i get an error that libXt.so.6
could not be found.

I have libXt.so.6 in my /usr/X11/lib/ path and several links to it in
/usr/X*/...

I would also like to know the difference between the
Mosaic-linux-static* and Mosaic-linux-dynamics versions of Mosaic 2.7bx
?

Greetings from denmark

1. Mosaic 2.6 can't find libXt.so.6??? Why not?

Mosaic 2.6 can't find libXt.so.6???  Why not?  I can!!! :-)

I downloaded Mosaic 2.6 from NCSA & get the "can't find libXt.so.6"
message when I try to run it.  Yet, I check the <xroot>/lib/X11 subdir
& there it is, in the flesh (so to speak).

So, what do I need to do so Mosaic can find it?

Thanks ahead o' time...Bob
