Hello all,

i have a teles 16.3 card. And i want to use it from linux.

i have downloaded the isdn4linux tools (2.0) but the tools directory
just won't compile.

also, if i try to start ippp then it says isdn not supported in kernel
(i do a modprobe teles, which loads the isdn subsystem as a module)

is there an easy way to set isdn up ?

Yes, should work!

I also ran into problems compiling the tools. Some of them I got compiled
after adding the supposed development packages from my Linux system. Look at
the make error messages for the files you need. And try to find out what is
missing.

Apart from the teles module, you have loaded the isdn module itself? Did you
try to insmod the isdn.o and teles.o objectfiles by hand?

Have you done a make devices in the tool dir ?
Many of the tools from isdn4linux-tools you don't need, unfortunatly the
Makefile isn't clever enought to ignore these if you haven't installed e.g
motif.
