Alcatel Speedtouch USB DSL

I have downloaded and installed Benoit's driver for the Speedtouch modem.
It seems to connect fine because ppp0 is assigned an IP address from my ISP,
however I can't seem to ping anything beyond the modem.  If I try to ping my
ISP's DNS server I get a host unreachable error.  I had it working
yesterday, but a problem forced me to reinstall Linux and now I can't
remember what it was I did that made it work before.  I know that the vpi
and vci setting are correct in the /etc/ppp/peers/adsl file, but I don't
know what to do next.

Thanks

Dale

Did you set the defaultroute option in the adsl peer file, or the options file?

It sounds like your default route isn't set to your ppp peer ip.
