i need a faq or some help on how setup
a dial up on demand linux server so that
i can dial up my isp when others on my
network request inet access.
later, when we get the permanent
connection to the net, i want to be able
to setup this server as a dialup ppp
server so that my friends can connect to
me at my reduced cost (free :-) )
any faq's... or info

I don't know of anything easier to use than the pppd man page,
unfortunately. See "demand" and "idle" commands, "defaultroute" and
the rest of the doc.

1. PPP Dial on demand + dial in server CO-EXIST Peacefully ?
Demand pppd and mgetty should be able to coexist if the options not
used by both are kept mutually exclusive, and both the demand pppd
and mgetty use lock files. Works for me.
