After the modem become silent, the following message display.
LCP: timeout sending config - Requests
Connection terminated
Receive serial link is not 8 - bit clean:
Problem: All had bit 7 set to 0
Pls help me.

You can send all messages from daemons to the console by putting into /etc/syslog.conf a line which sez
daemon.* /dev/console
(in fact you could send it anywhere you wanted to)
