Thtp server doesn't seem to work on RedHat 7.0.
Download works fine but upload always fails for the files bigger than 512
bytes....

tftp deamon is started with " -cs /tftpboot" arguments, all the permisions
for the tftpboot are set as nessesary

What might be a cause of this strange behavior?

Tkanx for reply

The tftp server which is distributed with Redhat 7.0 is broken big time.  You
will need to go to the http://www.rpmfind.net site or the updates directory
and get the latest version of the TFTP server.

See ya

1. tftp problem

Hi,

I am working on a freeBSD machine and I want to send a file from a computer
into another one, using the tftp transfer protocol.
The problem is that The name of the file I want to send is dynamically
created and the tftp serveur answers: File Not Found. I conclue that I am
obliged to create the file on the host machine before macking the transfer.
But is It there a way to avoid that?
I know that It works with the GET command but I am obliged to use the PUT
one.

Thanks in advance.
Youssef
