multi-smtp + multi-pop email client?

multi-smtp + multi-pop email client?

Post by jim_li.. » Sat, 19 Jun 1999 04:00:00

I'm wondering if anyone knows of an email client available for Linux
that will allow me both multiple POP accounts (for checking) and
multiple SMTP accounts (for sending). IE5's Outlook Express will do it,
but I want to move away from windows..

Obviously by my question, I have several different accounts that I must
send and receive from....having a different app for each account would
be (is) a pain, and I'm not proficient enough with email in general to
go through the process of setting up an MTA and MDA....much less how to
tie an MUA to all of that.

links, tips, & suggestions greatly appreciated!

Dare I suggest StarOffice5.1 ?
[~70 MegaBytes to d/l !]
Does a lot, seems like a cross between M$Officious and NutScrapePerambulator :-)
Works 4 me!

1. ? multi home + multi cgi, multi email, multi log, multi support

Is there any httpd package that could do not only multi web-home
setup, but also
        email for multi-doamin-names with their own domain-name;
        store log files for each domain-name in their own location;
        setup cgi-bin for each domain-name to have their own directory;
        support autherization and configuration for their own home
?

Does Netscape do that, OpenMarket do that, Or otehrs?

Thanks,
