My /usr/adm/syslog is full (about 99.999%) of
date time hostname kernel: tr0: xmit ret_code: 22 xmit error code: 00
messages.
What do they mean?
Should I just suppress them by hacking out the logging request?

They seem to be completely harmless - a transient condition on the ring,Quote:>What do they mean?

1. Token Ring error xmit ret_code: 22 xmit error code: 88
Hi.
I'm running 2.0.25 on a 486/33 with 16Mb of ram, and two
network cards, a 3com 3c509 ethernet, and an IBM ISA
16/4 Adapter/II Token Ring, on a 16Mbps ring. The Token
Ring driver has recently started reporting a number of errors
of this format:
error xmit ret_code: 22 xmit error code: 88
Occasionally it will report an
xmit ret_code: 23 xmit error code: 00
Is there anyone out there who knows what these errors mean?
Thanks in advance for any help
