Netscape plug-ins

Do plug-ins work for Netscape 4.5 for Linux? I tried following the
instructions for the Realaudio plug-ins, but the Plug-in button is greyed out
in my Netscape. This a Win95 feature that didn't quite make it to Linux?

The realaudio plug-in works, but you need to get the right one. Search
the realaudio site thoroughly, it's well hidden. I seem to recall that
if you have Red Hat Linux or another glibc system you need to get the
older version of the plugin.

Actually, I've seen the same problems with the Adobe Acrobat plug-ins.  They just
don't work.  Everytime I download a pdf, I'd have to save it somewhere on my home
directory, then start up the Acrobat application, then view the pdf.  Does anybody
know if there is a specific version of Acrobat that works with Redhat 5.x?

It works with Netscape 4.5 for Linux (SuSE 5.3) here at my place without
severe problems.

Does anyone know if Netscape supports plug-ins on AIX?  I've a feeling
last time I asked the question they didn't and now they might.

RSVP if you are in the know,
