Modem is in ttyS0 (mouse PS/2). My provider use CHAP.
How to set PPP? Step by step (file by file :) ) ?

/etc/hosts

/etc/networks

/etc/resolv.conf

/etc/ppp/options

/etc/ppp/chap-secrets :)

If I lost any file - help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't know anything, try setting it up with yast.

there s a ppp-howto.
a little rtfm cant hurt.

you could try kppp, ( from kde. obviously)
helps you wih most configuration

1. SuSE 6.3 & rc.config & IPADDR

Is there anyway to make IPADDR in rc.config able to handle a dynamic
IP address?  I.E. if I'm using it as a router and right now I have my
IP Address hardcoded for the eth0... can I use an * or something?  Any
