Hi,

does someone know how to mount a DOS partition on a DOS machine from
another computer running under LINUX?

Thanks,
Peter.

Check out SAMBA.  I've been using it to mount partitions on a linux
machine from a windows machine, but it will work the other way around
too.

I'm using a shareware NFS Server for DOS/WIN (really) called Tropic or Tropical
NFS.  Anyway, linux is the client here, but it works fine.

1. ethernet: dos machine <--> linux machine

I need a hint:

I would like to be able to have a xt-dos machine to function as a terminal
on my linux machine.  I have ethernet cards in each.  I think the support
for the ethernet card has been compiled into the Linux kernel I am using.

1.  What needs to be done on the Linux machine?  (Which HOWTO do I need
        to check out.?

2.  Even more confusing to me: What runs on the dos machine?  What
        programs am I looking for?

Thanks
Alan
