is there any way of changing the hardware address.....like i don't
want to change the card........i just want to mask the hardware
address.......

see you can do that using "ifconfig".. hmmm wanna hide ur work from
administrator?? But u card need to support and must be offline todo
that.

1. /var/log/secure logs telnet connects but not logins?
I'm running Red Hat 5.2 and have been checking my /var/log/secure files.
There are several "connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" messages but no messages
saying whom has logged on, including my own logins.
How can I activate logging of successful logins?
