There's a de620.c file in the kernel tree. I didn't test whether it works,
but if you have a DE620 hooked to your laptop and load the de620.o module
(that's what I did) it'll get the ethernet number and install itself.

Dlink 620 (NOT 600) Anyone ?!?

Post by Rudi van Drun » Sun, 08 Jan 1995 03:57:29

Hi linux guru's

I recently got a Dlink 620 combo pocket ethernet adapter. Does anyone know if
there is already support for this device in the kernel. I looked in the readme
of kernel 1.1.52, D-link driver version 0.32 but there bjorn Ekwall states the
following :

(No, I have _not_ included any support for the DE-620 yet
since I have _no_ official documentation on how to program
that beast. There are some code modifications in place
already in case I get some _real_ info..., c'mon D-Link!)

Did D-link already release the specs, and is there already a driver ?
Maybe some of you know. Thanks.

The DE-620 driver has been included in the Linux kernel sources sometime
before 1.1.20.

1. Canon BJC 620 versus Epson Stylus Color 600 under Linux ???

Hi,
is there someone who can tell me something about the Canon BJC 620
and/or the Epson Stylus Color 600 under Linux. Is it possible,
and how is the printing of pictures (perhaps a comparison about printing
under Linux and Windows) ?
Thanks a lot, Tobias.
