Hi,
I have installed an RH 5.2 and a 6.0 and the two importants
directories are:
/etc/httpd for the settings, configurations and logs
/home/httpd for the 'htdocs' where you will put your files
and the 'cgi-bin' for your scripts.
the file /home/httpd/html/index.htm is the default first
page of your http server, but you can change it with one
of the three configuration file (access.conf, srm.conf,
httpd.conf) that are in /etc/httpd/conf/
Maybe that will help you,
Philippe
