Need help w/ Network issue

Post by GLaDiaT » Sun, 10 Oct 1999 04:00:00

Just installed Red Hat 6.0 in a AST Bravo MS5166, with 64 MG RAM, 2 GB
IDE HD, and a 3COM 10/100 MB NIC (3C905B-TX) using DHCP (through our
company's network) and as far as I can tell things are working fine,
except for one thing!!

I can FTP, HTTP, or TELNET from another machine into the Linux
machine, but can't browse or even ping anybody else but myself from
Linux.

Can anybody help?

Tarcio

The /etc/resolv.conf has only one line, one word:
--------
search
-------
Can you recommend anything?

Tarcio.
