I have an Ansel NS2104 which has a PCNet controller and a 79C980
repeater on the card but the company went out of business so that
doesn't help you much. The card was designed for the "server hub"
market which never materialized but you might be able to find
something else that is intended for that application.

Yes.  The Cogent EM-964 is a four-port 10BaseT PCI card, based on the
DEC 21040 (I think) Tulip chip.  It works "right out of the box" with
the Tulip driver in Linux 2.0.25.  It cost me $435 plus tax when I
bought one this week.  They make a 4-port 100BaseT card as well, which
I haven't tried yet.

I think their web page is at http://www.cogentdata.com/

1. Quad port ethernet cards for Sun boxes

Can anyone suggest any Quad Port Ethernet cards that will work on sun boxes.

Would there be any difference between one that worked on a sparc5 and a
sparc10?

Do they just appear as le0, le1 etc?

Thanks
