I check out my ftpd, but can not find it in my system (slackware 96,
kernel 2.0.27 ) anymore, so I like to compile the wu-ftpd-2.4 for
instead. After typing
"build lnx", it built most of binaries, except the ftpd (wu-ftpd ? )
The following is the error message!
glob.c: In function 'matchdir':
glob.c:240:dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
make: *** [glob.c] Error 1
Anyone know how to fixed it and install it if after success?

Get the latest wu-ftpd and read the FAQ on how
to build on Linux .... You have to set a
define on Linux ... something like -DDIRENT_something
get the FAQ it's well explain

ftpd always craps out - in fact, it no longer seems to function upon
restart, dunno why. I'm thinking of switching to wu-ftpd, which I
believe I installed the from the ports collection, when I installed this
whole thing. A whereis wu-ftpd finds it in usr/ports/.... I ran make
install but to no avail, what now?
