Any time you want to find a file you can use locate
If you leave the system up overnight a cron job will create
the locate database.
Anytime you need to update/create the location database, as root, updatedb
You can use locate to find files. Example: locate -i inn
You can reduce the results by pipeing it through grep.
locate -i inn | grep -i doc
load the results (/usr/doc/inn-2.2.2/faq/part1.html) in netscape.
