Router question

What about a router like US Robotics 8000 A for (FIRST):

 - sharing printer,
 - sharing files,
 - sharing internet connection

between two home PC's?  (each having RH7.3 and a NIC, only one PC (so
far) connected to DSL modem)

What the store guy was apparently not able to answer me was the firewall
capabilities of this router. I would like, eventually, (SECOND)

 - to be able to telnet to my computer from far away (eventually...)
 - to leave (eventually also) a third computer running with html files
   reachable by everybody

by specifying the firewall rules myself, with iptables.

Do you have any idea about some router for doing this task???

Thanks in advance for telling me more than the store man. (or even only
for referring me to a proper reference).

Linksys BEFSR series or D-Link DI series. Siemens has a few too. With Linksys
you may have to get a separate printer server though, if you don't want to make
a computer to be one. D-Link DI-704P, claims to serve printers too (I assume on
Winodws environment).
They all have integrated firewall.
Hope this helps.

1. Default router and alternate router question

I have a sparc20, solaris2.4 with a token ring card and an ethernet
card.
The are on different networks. The token ring is 129.x.x.x and the
ethernet
is 140.x.x.x. The /etc/defaultrouter file is set to point to the router
on
the token ring 129.1.0.1. Since I inherited support for this machine I
can not
find were the router entry for the ethernet card is. I have a feeling
that
there is no entry for this since the reboot instructions state to ping
the
router 140.1.0.1 after the machine comes up. I am assuming that this is
establishing the route? Is there a file that this can be placed in like
the /etc/defaultrouter? The reason I am asking is that we are changing
all
of our 140.x.x.x to another network (10.x.x.x) and I want to make sure
that
changing /etc/hosts and /etc/netmasks.
