Linux users!

I there something screwy with my xfm?  I downloaded the version which comes
with the Slackware distribution Linux v.1.2.8 from tsx-11, and am in the
process of configuring everything.  Much to my chagrin, i find the .xfm/* files
are --r--r--r-!  Does this mean i can't put my favorite apps (Andrew) and
printers in that window?  How do i get rid of them if i can't even write to
them as root?

You should make the files writable for their owner
with the command
chmod -R u+w .xfm/

BTW, there is a Motif version of xfm now, called moxfm,
which you can find on my WWW page
http://ips105.desy.de:8765/~mai/moxfm
There you can find sources, binaries and screen snapshots.

Oliver
