I am trying to install Mandrake 7.0 on my dad's computer but his cdrom is
not bootable. I have tried to use this program rawwritewin.exe to make the
disk but I keep getting an error, Failed data 16! or soemthing like that.
I also got my friend's RH boot disk but once I threw in the Mandrake cd
it got mad.
I guess at this point I am looking for some help.

There should be a directory AUTOBOOT in the DOSUTILS directory. There
you will find an executable or batch file to auto boot from the cdrom
without rebooting. This will only work from the DOS prompt not a
window. The CD-ROM drive has to be accessible from the DOS prompt,
sometimes these drivers are removed (or commented out) by Windows.
