Is it possible to switch the virtual desktop with the keyboard, instead of
the mouse? I think it would be much faster with a key combination like
"control-alt-left_arrow" and "control-alt-right_arrow".

How could I do that?

Thanks

Yes. You would've found that out the hard way if you
ever tried to play doom in fvwm. Soon as you try to
shoot and move at the same time, you find yourself in
        another virtual desktop. Quite distracting.

Workaround: use openlook when playing doom

Hello me,

Simply forget the ALT key, and it's perfect. FvwmPager is really a nice tool.

Thanks for those who answered in my mailbox!

No really. I think you can look into .fvwmrc and try to find the
    Key Left        A       C       Scroll -100 +0
etc. These lines are where the Ctrl-ArrowKeys originates.

If Quake is anything like doom then there is another way.  I had the
same thing happening to me in quake.  So, I edited my fvwm2rc file,
and made sure that FvwmPager had these settings:

Style "FvwmPager"   CirculateSkip, Sticky

I took out a couple of settings, so now I can use alt+tab.

I erased a lot for it.  Now, I can do whatever in Xquake.

Trust me, there is ALWAYS a way to do it with fvwm2.. :)

1. FvwmPager and FvwmWharf

I want to start Wharf on starting X
My wm is Fvwm2 (AnotherLevel) Where do I put a call to Module
FvwmWharf in my fvwm2rc.init file to let Wharf start without messing
up the module FvwmPager that has already started ?
There is the command KillmoduleFvwmWharf somewhere that does just that
if you start Wharf from the menu.
I'm obviously not starting FvwmWharf at the right time
Thanks.
