Hi, I'm buying a new system, and want to know which ATI chipset(s) are
supported by XFree86? The H/W compatibility HOWTO hasn't been updated since
July, and it doesn't list the more recent ATI chipsets.

Any info will be greatly appreciated. Please reply via email 'cos I don't
check these newsgroups that often. Thanks!

I'm using the Mach64 server with an AGP All in Wonder PRO (8M). It's
working fine at 1280x1024x16bpp... I'm currently working on getting it
running at 1600x1200x16bbp. According to what I've read, the advanced
features (i.e. TV tuner, vid capture, etc) aren't supported yet... to
misquote Yoda "they will be... they will be" :-)

BTW, the Mach64 server doesn't work for me, although it should, since
it's the same chipset (Rage Pro). I get an image with a top and bottom
way over the limits of the screen, at any resolution. The virtual
desktop is disabled. And the SVGA server works fine. I tried to tweak it
for days, but it was a no-go.
