Linux on Toshiba Satellite Pro 4270 / Boot problem.

Has anyone been able to boot from a cd on a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4270?
Ive tried to boot a couple of Linux distributions and FreeBSD, without
results, however when i try to boot with a darn w98 cd, it works....

Hello,

Is anybody know how to configure Xfree with a S3 Savage MX video card in
this laptop ? When using the s3-savage driver supplied by Xfree, the
resolution is 320x200, but the LCD Panel support 1024x768.

Any idea ?
