any vb sample code for access database function

: I am new in vb design, anybody can email some sample code or show me some site to download, I just want to design a vb program to load an MS access database(phonebook directory), I can search by name , by postcode, by tel no, to select some company.

Boy, are you lost! VB and ADO don't run under Liunx, so why would you
expect to find the answer here?  Try a VB newsgroup.

wrong group. That said you need to look into ado (in vb, there are wizards
to setup the connection) which connects to the acccess databases and then
use it send some sql queries to it with your search parameters.
