Ok
first the display was set by me to 1152*864 32bits
the monitor was an AOC 7glr and gfx card was geforce ddr
that display setting was producing the green colour so i changed it to
1024*768 32bit which worked fine 1280*1024 16bit also worked fine
regarding the mouse basically i had the usb mouse selecting which didn't
work because the USB module wasn't loaded
so i selected the serial mouse instead
