Printing PS file directly to BJ10e with gs...

Hello,

I want to print out PS file directly to my Canon BJ-10e. I read the
Printing-HOWTO and use:

gs -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=bj10e -sOutputFile=/dev/lp0 test.ps

   But GS just report:

Error: /invalidfileaccess in --.outputpage--
Operand stack:
    1  true
Execution stack:
    %interp_exit  --nostringval--  --nostringval--  --nostringval--
false  --nostringval--  --nostringval--  false  --nostringval--
--nostringval--  --nostringval--  --nostringval--

   Can anybody help? Thanks!

Regards,
CT Yen.

: Hello,

: gs -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=bj10e -sOutputFile=/dev/lp0 test.ps

: Error: /invalidfileaccess in --.outputpage--

Are you sure, you are allowed to write directly to /dev/lp0 ?
A better way is to pipe into the printer spooler 'lpr'.

gs -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=bj10e -sOutputFile=\| lpr test.ps

T backslash is just there to protect the pipe symbol from the shell !

Hope this helps
