why my Debian/Patato system accessed ny HDD every 10 seconds?

I see the LED flashing every 10 seconds exactly, even if I
do not do anything for hours, just watch the LED.

What is that, and how to stop it?

It's a single user machine, not connected to the internet.

1. my Debian system accesses HDD every 10 seconds, what for?

I killed allmost all processes, except the ones that can't be killed.
Then it accesses the HDD every 60 seconds.

I can't figure out what is that for, and how can I change it?
