Problems with man

Post by Kim Call » Thu, 17 Aug 1995 04:00:00

I am using the June release of InfoMagic's Slackware distribution. I get
root mail every night telling me that updatedb failed. Then I noticed
that I am unable to use apropos... I looked at /usr/lib/man.conf, and
everything seems cool so what is the problem?

1. Problem with man

Hello,

I have Linux Slackware 2.0, and I have a serious problem. When I tried to
view one page of manual, for example fork, (man fork) the system display a
End ?/?? message and don't display anything.
I installed all the necesary resources for the man pages, groff included.
Anyone help me?
Thanks in advance.

Angel.
