Sanyo 3-disk CD ROM drive, Slackware 2.0.1., idecd, color.gz, setup can't find source files.. :(

So, the header says it all.

I am using a Gateway 2000 P-120 (Win 95 in primary partition)
using the Sanyo 3-disk
CD-ROM drive, trying to install a Slackware distribution of
Linux (2.0.1) from a CD ROM published by InfoMagic.

I am using an idecd bootdisk and color rootdisk to
get anywhere with this installation, both files
downloaded from sunsite's ftp site.

My CD ROM drive is recognised  during setup, but none of
the files on the CD ROM can be found.  I get a message
like 'Cannot find a souce file A, so skipping it.'

Why is this happening?

Replies via e-mail will be gratefully received, with a
guaranteed 'thank you' via return e-mail to any who offer
their advice.

I installed RedHat 2.0 on a GW2K P5-120 with the Sanyo 3-CD changer just
yesterday.  Install went flawlessly, absolutely no problems.. Hope this
helps.

I don't know how to help you.  I have several Linux distributions on
CD-ROM.  Only the "Linux Universe" distribution recognizes the Sanyo
changer.  I have absolutely no idea what the problem is.

No.  Only the #1 slot.

But other distributions for some reason don't recognize the drive at all.

It's called "a driver" (the problem, that is.)

1. Sanyo 3-Disk ("Jukebox") CD-Rom

I have a Gateway 2000 P5-120 which is delivered with a Sanyo 3-Disk
("Jukebox") CD-Rom.  This CD-Rom uses an ATAPI interface and I can mount
a single disk but I'd like to know if it is possible to mount all three
disks (i.e., and have something like /dev/cdrom1, /dev/cdrom2, /dev/cdrom3).
Anyone know if this is possible?
