HP 693 Problems

HP 693 Problems

Wondering if anyone out there has "successfully" configured the HP 693c
Color InkJet
printer under Linux.  If so, how.
I have it working, sporadically.  It will print some pages and then all
of a sudden just start spitting out
garabage.  Any ideas?

I am running Redhat 6.2 and have it setup under printtool as an HP
Deskjet 550C (UP) on /dev/lp0

These are the links I have on HP Printers.  I don't see Inkjet listed there,
but there are a couple of links on the site for asking questions.  Maybe you
can get some help there if you don't here.

1. HP 693 not printing

HI All,

I am having a problem with my HP 693C printer working in Caldera 2.2
I know the printer works in win95.I see a driver for HP 690,but my
printer
doesnt print.I should say that it prints but the paper doesnt come out
of the
printer.I have to press the reset button to get the paper to come out.Is
this a
win printer that I have seen refered to that doesnt work in Linux?

 Any help would be appreciated.
