When I try co compile C programs (like Wine) I get this error message:
Error: The C compiler cannot create binaries
How do I fix that? I have searched on Deja News, but the only answer
I found there was that there were precompiled binares available. :(

1. gcc compiler cannot create httpd binary on redhat linux 5.1
Hi, - I am trying to set up an apache server for an intranet but cannot
create the httpd file. - after getting compliling a long list of object
files I get this error.
......mod_browser.o regex/libregex.a -ldbm
ld: cannot open -ldbm: no such file or directory
make: *** [httpd] Error 1
I have read through the FAQs but I am obviously missing something here - any
help greatly apprieciated.
