segmentation fault?

segmentation fault?

i've installed slackware 3.0 with everything but xwindow

everything seems fine including pcmcia support, but when i try to run
some games from /usr/games
some of them say "segmentation fault" and quits
i know it's not really "urgent" but it's baffling me

is it my hardware?  do i have to configure something?
