I have installed RedHat as usual on a friend's computer, and I am
getting this error when GRUB is told to boot Linux:
-------------
Booting Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-3)
root (hd0, 4)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
kernal/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.18-3 ro root=/dev/hda5 hdc=ide-scsi
Error 28: Selected item cannot fit in memory.
-------------
The system has a 30GB disk partitioned as follows:
hda0: 4GB, FAT32
hda5: 4GB, ext3, Linux /
hda6: 512MB Linux swap
hda7: half remainder, FAT32
hda8: half remainder. ext3
The system was installed to hda5. Windows in hda0 still boots correctly.
No errors or warnings were seen during installation. Never had this
before, has anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance,
