Hello,
I am trying to do a network install on a Sun Ultra 10 (Sun Ultra 5/10
UPA/PCI [UltraSPARC-IIi 300Mhz]). I have Ultrapenguin 1.0 and start the
boot but I get a message:
Strange OBP version 'OBP 3.11.9 1998/03/06 10:31'.
I obviously have the wrong version of the OBP (whatever that is), but it
seems like Linux is looking for one much lower (2.xx). I don't want to
downgrade it (which I probably can't anyway). Anyone know what the
error really means and a way to fix it?
If you didn't guess already, I am new to Sun and just wanted to put an
operating system I was more familiar with on this computer.
Thanks in advance.
