Booting an SGI Indy of a Linux CD

Booting an SGI Indy of a Linux CD

Hi all,

Has anyone successfully booted an SGI/INDY workstation off of the Red
hat 7.1 ISO image provided at oss.sgi.com, and if so how?  I get a
variety of different errors but I am not sure I am using the right
command.  I have been using boot scsi(0)cdrom(5)/vmlinux, but that does
not seem to work.  My cdrom drive is scsi id 5, and it works fine with
an SGI disk,

Thanks,

Alain

Forgive the dumb question but is the INDY a x86 based.
I ask because the the image I have from SGI is for x86
machines to provide the XFS filesystem.
