I've got a PC with to LAN Cards in it. One NE2000 and one SMC8003.
The kernel support for the WD80*3 and NE2000 is enabeld.
At system startup the SMC80*3 card is found, but not the NE2000. Is it
possibile that the kernel doesn't search for a secondary LAN card?
If the WD80*3 support is disabled in the kernel, the NE2000 Card is
found and installed.
Card data:
NE2000: INT 7, PORT 300
SMC8003: INT 5, PORT 0x240, IO 0xd0000 (Software configurable)
Kernel message for the SMC Card:
eth0: wd80*3 at 0x240, 00 00 C0 B2 26 65 WD8003, IRQ 5, shared memory
at 0xd0000-0xd1fff
Kernel message for the NE2000 Card:
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x300: 00 80 AD 06 50 80
eth0: NE2000 found at 0x300, using IRQ 7
Is there a HOWTO which can help me?
How do i configure the ip adresses for the two adapters?
