I am trying to get RH6.1, am AMI MegaRAID 466 and 4 drives configured.
In the BIOS of the MegaRAID I defined 4 indiviual RAID0 arrays...
basically no raid. Is this supported? Linux finds the first drive, but
nothing else. Here is what bootup says :
megaraid: v1.04 (August 16, 1999)
megaraid: found 0x8086:0x1960:idx 0:bus 0:slot 10:func 1
scsi0 : Found a MegaRAID controller at 0xe0004000, IRQ: 12
megaraid: [FH60:1.31] detected 4 logical drives
scsi0 : AMI MegaRAID FH60 254 commands 16 targs 1 chans 8 luns
scsi : 1 host.
scsi0: scanning channel 1 for devices.
scsi0: scanning virtual channel for logical drives.
Vendor: MegaRAID Model: LD0 RAID0 35043R Rev: FH60
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi disk sda at scsi0, channel 1, id 0, lun 0
SCSI device sda: hdwr sector= 512 bytes. Sectors= 71768064 [35043 MB]
[35.0 GB]
sda: sda1
Is there anyway to get to the other 3 drives w/o setting up a full raid0
or raid5 array? It works fine with RAID5, but I just want to use the
card as a regular SCSI adapter if possible....
