1. Linux on HP Vectra Xu P133

Has anyone been able to install linux on an HP Vectra Xu machine.  I
have one running other operating systems and its great!.  I have not had
any luck trying to install linux.  The problem is the onboard AMD PCI
scsi controller and network card. I would like to install the slackware
distribution on the machine but I can't get a boot and root disk to
recognize the scsi drives.  Can anyone tell me how to do that or has
anyone done that on one of these machines yet.  Please E-mail me direct
